We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the IT Support sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a 1st Line IT Support Technician to join a busy, growing, in-house IT team. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be available to work full time, Monday to Friday, with interchangeable shifts from 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm.

The role is offered on a Hybrid basis with very flexible working arrangements and a salary of £20,000 to £25,000 and potential to increase for the right candidate.

1st Line IT Support’s Core Duties

  • Deliver 1st line application and desktop support to business users ensuring adherence to SLA’s and providing optimal service to our staff
  • Providing knowledge to business users through cause analysis, and future guidance so the business users gain knowledge
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base for the IT Team
  • Supplying "boots on the ground" user facing support
  • Deliver a regular schedule of "end user" training to develop core skills of the firm users
  • Adding and maintaining Microsoft 365 Users
  • Adding and maintaining Active Directory Users
  • Managing building, deploying and redeploying devices on Microsoft Windows 10 platform

1st Line IT Support’s Key Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft support or hold a relevant IT Qualification
  • Excellent customer service, communications skills
  • Experience carrying out IT Support would be highly beneficial
  • Experience with MS Office 365 & Active Directory would be desirable
  • Experience with cloud services would be beneficial
  • MS Networking skills advantageous
  • Experience in professional services environment desirable
  • Attention to details skills essential
  • Interesting in building up on knowledge, skills and experience
  • Team player
