We specialise in the recruitment of high-quality candidates in the Food and Drinks Sector. We have an excellent opportunity for an IT Controller within a premium Italian food and beverage brand.

IT Controller’s Core Duties

IT Controller (Legal)

  • Ensuring that software licensing laws are adhered to
  • Ensuring that GDPR obligations are met
  • Ensure that all legislation surrounding Company activities are managed with integrity, including Health & Safety legislation.

IT Controller (Equipment and Infrastructure)

  • Issue of IT equipment across the business such as laptops and mobile phones.
  • Planning, developing and implementing the ICT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure cost effectiveness
  • Scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems
  • Researching and installing new systems
  • Ensuring the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision
  • Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems
  • Oversee system design and development programmes/initiatives
  • Management of the Company mobile telephones ensuring maintenance and distribution to relevant personnel.
  • Manage problems encountered on a day to day basis with the IT system
  • Manage and problem solve on daily basis problems encountered with photocopiers and other associated office equipment.
  • Maintenance and integrity of databases
  • Ensure all backups are tested at regular intervals and stored off site with replication
  • Work closely with other colleagues and managers to resolve issues
  • Evaluation of projects undertaken post implementation and gathering feedback from managers

IT Controller (Security)

  • Providing secure access to the network for remote users
  • Ensuring the security of data from internal and external attack

IT Controller’s Desirable Experience
