We have an excellent opportunity for an IT Support Technician to join a talented bunch of data scientists, innovation specialists, entrepreneurs, developers, marketers and insurance specialists, to name a few, at a fantastic insurance company based in London Bridge.
IT Technician’s Core Duties
- 1/2nd Line desktop support for MacOS and Windows
- Install, upgrade and support Windows and Mac OS
- Provide excellent customer service
- Manage desk moves and changes, including the starter/leaver process
- Purchase new equipment for the business
- Send devices off for repair
- Produce “how to” guides on systems usage to aid customers and other technical support staff
- Manage internal asset list
- Manage company mobiles
- Manage SIM Card VPN platform
IT Technician’s Key Skills
- Knowledge of Office 365, OneDrive & SharePoint
- Troubleshoot Windows and Mac devices
- iOS Knowledge
- Knowledge and troubleshooting skills of the Microsoft office suite
- Knowledge of telephony & VPN Clients
- Strong written and communication skills
IT Technician’s NOT Essential Skills
- Working familiarity of Confluence and JIRA
- Knowledge of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
- Experience of MDM tools such as Intune and Jamf
- Experience with Sophos XG
