IT Support Technician’s Core Duties

  • The IT Support is responsible for use and support of the IT systems within the company
  • Overseeing installation
  • Ensuring backup systems operate effectively
  • Providing the ITC (Information Communication Technology) for the organisation and contributing to organisational policy regarding quality standards and strategic planning.
  • Flexible with work time. Able to perform out of hours duties, travel as necessary and perform weekend work if required.

IT Support Technician’s Key Skills

  • Perform 2nd line support for MS CRM & related software
  • Support the development, deployment and maintenance of MS CRM and related applications
  • Project manage a range of small to medium internal and external development projects
  • Able to assess testing and management.
  • User management and administration
  • Provide user training, support, advice and feedback where necessary
  • Maintain and monitor GDPR compliance
  • Actively support the IT Director & IT Manager in day to day running of the department

IT Support Technician’s Key Requirements

  • Educated with University degree in IT or a related technical discipline.
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience within a similar role
  • A thorough understanding of the Microsoft range of products.
  • Prince 2 (or similar) project management qualifications
  • Must be able to complete tasks efficiently and without supervision.
  • Must have a thorough technical understanding of the following
    • Microsoft Dynamic CRM (2011 & 365)/Microsoft Office 365
    • Telematics software
    • IT hardware and software
    • Local networking
    • Cloud technologies
    • SaaS
    • Project management software
