We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the IT, Digital & Telecoms sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Group Auditor – IT to join the Group Audit team who form part of the Group Risk, Audit and Insurance department and exists to act as an independent appraisal function within the company to examine and evaluate the Group’s internal control framework.

Senior Group Auditor’s Core Duties

  • Effective planning and timely execution of risk based audits from company’s internal audit programme
  • Providing constructive appraisal, insight and challenge and acting as a catalyst for positive change
  • Plan and undertake audits in challenging business areas in line with best practice methodology and agree on effective plans for control improvement and risk management
  • With primary areas of focus, cybersecurity and resilience and organisational development and change, you will have the ability to articulate technical issues with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Acting as a trusted partner to the operational teams you will contribute to identifying the need for operational changes that improve business performance, resilience and ensure regulatory compliance
  • As a senior team member, you will also be expected to support the development of junior audit staff

Senior Group Auditor’s Skills required

  • Graduate in an Information Communication Technology / Information Systems related discipline
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner (CISSP) qualification essential
  • Extensive post qualification IT audit experience essential
  • To be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of cyber threats and countermeasures is essential
  • Very analytical, strong communication skills, strong planning and organisation skills, be assertive, and have strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
  • The ability to thrive in a changing and varied environment and an ability to meet demanding delivery timescales
  • it is essential that our newest team member will be skilled at developing robust working relationships with staff at all levels
